Black Swan

A Black Swan is an unpredictable event that has extreme consequences. Black Swan events are characterized by their rarity, impact, and the insinuation that they were obvious in hindsight.

This module is for the Mothership Sci-Fi Horror RPG. It was written for a group of four or more players, but can be scaled for any number. This PDF is formated for 8.5" x 11" paper printing. Purchase also includes image files for all the NPC portraits and the map of the facility.

A secretive research facility has hired the PC's to bring and install blast shielding before a meteor storm can hit them. Little do they know, more than meteors are about to hit the facility.

Drawing inspiration from classic science fiction movies like The Thing From Another World (1951) and John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), Black Swan is a loving homage to the terror of unknown organisms invading our spaces. It contains detailed character information for twelve NPC's, details on a scientific facility, and a three-form alien monster.

Please Note: It is the intention of the author to build upon this adventure with further modules in the future, creating a shared universe of characters, places, and events.
